2010 Annual Conference
Post-Conference Day
The Greenleaf Center is pleased to host a Post-Conference session following the 20th Annual International Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. A "Lead Like Jesus Encounter" will be held Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
Designed for action-oriented learning and reflection, the session will closely examine Jesus as a leader and a model while equipping participants to lead as He led. Participants will learn about the power of the heart, head, hands, and habits of servant leadership as modeled by Jesus. The benefits will include:
- A new appreciation for Jesus as a viable role model for leadership in the 21st century
- Insight into the common struggles and strategies of leaders trying to walk their faith at home, work, church, and in their communities
- Meaningful experience with five of the ways that Jesus stayed focused and on purpose with His leadership assignment from the Father
- A feeling of support from a faith-based community
- Tools to assess your current leadership motivations and behaviors and a method for re-aligning them daily in the way that Jesus would want
This one-day workshop will be led by Phyllis Hendry, President and CEO of Lead Like Jesus. Phyllis has more than 30 years of business and leadership experience, including financial management, human resource management, public relations, and sales. Before joining Lead Like Jesus, Phyllis served as president of the non-profit National Science Center in Augusta, Georgia where she led in raising more than $30 million for this highly-acclaimed interactive facility.
The registration fee for the workshop is $250 for marketplace leaders and $150 for clergy and full-time church staff. The fee includes continental breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch, a workbook, and workshop materials.
