2010 Annual Conference
Silent Auction
The Silent Auction will be held at our 2010 Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday evening just before the Celebration Dinner and Featured Speaker. The proceeds of this auction will be dedicated to scholarships to the Greenleaf Academy. Complete item information will be available at the Conference along with starting bids. A few of the items being offered this year are:

Item 1: Starbucks Gift Basket. (Items vary per basket) Donation by: Howard Behar

Item 2: Dinner for two at the Fandangles Restaurant and Martini Bar in the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel. Newly remodeled and visually arresting, this Atlanta restaurant is open nightly offering a “Southern Evolution” menu. The restaurant overlooks the expansive swimming pool and gracious Savannah-style Garden Courtyard, and features a fifty-foot, full service bar, and a private wine room for intimate conference dinners or wine tastings.

Item 3: Financial Empowerment Basket. Donated by: SBLI USA Mutual Life Insurance Company, Inc.

Item 4: "Step Back from the Baggage Claim" professional development gift basket: 2 books, 2 audiobooks and other gift items." Donated by: Jason Barger. He is the author of the book recently featured in the NY Times, Step Back from the Baggage Claim: Change the World, Start at the Airport. This inspirational book is resonating with servant leaders within businesses, schools, universities, and faith communities. Before taking off to sleep in airports and observe human behavior, Barger led over 1,700 people to construct 125 houses internationally for families living in poverty. He also implemented the Streets Mission Project to serve the homeless on the streets of Columbus, Ohio. As the former director of First Community Church’s Camp Akita, he designed programming focused on living with joy, love, compassion, faith, and service for over 1,900 campers per summer. Jason is an author, consultant, angel advocate, servant-leader, creativity coach, and respected speaker.

Item 9: Four Callaway Gardens Day Passes. Donated by: Callaway Gardens

Item 10: Spend a day with Larry Spears, author/editor and president of the Spears Center for Servant Leadership, in one of the following ways:
- Collaborate with Larry on the writing and publication of a servant leadership article, or
- One-day consultation with Larry around servant leadership
Reimbursement for travel requested if done outside of Indianapolis.
