Dr. John Izzo is an internationally recognized speaker, consultant, and the author of over 150 articles. His books include his international best-seller, Awakening Corporate Soul, and Values Shift: The New Work Ethic, a number one best-selling book on leadership values and integrity. Dr. Izzo earned a Masters degree from McCormick Divinity School in Theology and a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from Kent State University. After a career as a minister, Dr. Izzo spent five years as a senior organizational development consultant for Kaiser Permanente, and four years as Vice President of The Einstein Consulting Group, an international customer service consultancy, prior to establishing his own firm. Currently he focuses on helping leaders and organizations reach sustainable success through the integration of purposeful leadership and business practices. Dr. Izzo is a frequent contributor to Canada's Globe and Mail, and his research and opinions have been featured in various media, including Fast Company, CNN, Canada AM, CBC Radio, ABC World News, The Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. At the 2008 conference Dr. Izzo will be speaking about his new book and TV series, The Five Secrets You Must Discover before You Die. Dr. James Joseph is the former U.S. Ambassador to South Africa, and founder of the United States-Southern Africa Center for Leadership and Public Values at Duke University and the University of Cape Town. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation. Dr. Joseph graduated from Southern University and Yale, and is an ordained minister. He was a local civil rights organizer in Alabama in 1963, and served as Vice-President of Cummins Engine Company, President and CEO of the Council on Foundations, Under Secretary of the Department of the Interior, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation for National Service. He has worked with emerging leaders in Southern Africa, and is currently launching a Fellowship Program for Louisiana's Rising Mid-Career Leaders to help address the leadership deficit that resulted from the devastation of Louisiana by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. He is the author of The Charitable Impulse and Remaking America. |

Michael Jones is a speaker and facilitator, an accomplished pianist and composer, an evocative storyteller, and a thoughtful coach, mentor, and author. A Canadian native, Michael shares his unique insights into the relationship between servant leadership, artistry, and community. He has more than thirty years of experience as a leadership educator and consultant. He is a Leadership Fellow and Associate Faculty with the Executive MBA and Business Programs at The Center for Professional Excellence at the University of Texas; a Charter-Consulting Member with The Society for Organizational Learning (SoL); and a Senior Fellow with The James MacGregor Burns Academy of Leadership in the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland. Michael's work has been mentioned in Personal Excellence, Business Spirit, Fast Company, Management Review, The Washington Post, and other publications. He is the author of Creating an Imaginative Life (1995) and Artful Leadership: Awakening the Commons of the Imagination (2006). Richard H. (Rich) McClure is president of UniGroup, Inc., the parent of specialized transportation companies United Van Lines, LLC and Mayflower Transit, LLC, as well as related subsidiaries. United is the nation's largest mover, and Mayflower is the third-largest. UniGroup's combined 2007 revenues exceeded $2 billion, making it one of the leading specialized transportation businesses in the United States and, according to the annual FORBES magazine listing, one of the nation's 150 largest privately owned companies. Among his corporate responsibilities, McClure is chief executive officer of all of UniGroup's operating subsidiaries. Prior to joining the UniGroup management team, McClure was a banking executive with Central Bancompany of Missouri, a holding company with assets of $6 billion; chief of staff for then-Missouri Governor John Ashcroft; deputy chief of staff and assistant to Illinois Governor Jim Thompson; and director of the Illinois Department of Central Management Services. A native of Springfield, Missouri, McClure earned his bachelor's degree in management from Missouri State University and his master's degree from The Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He is president of Civic Progress, whose members include the top 30 St. Louis companies who gather with the objective of working toward solutions to regional issues and challenges, and he serves on many boards, including the Board of Governors of Opportunity International, an organization dedicated to fighting global poverty through microenterprise. |

Dr. Fons Trompenaars is an internationally recognized consultant, author, and speaker based in The Netherlands. His topics include managing across cultures, international teambuilding, diversity, and leadership for the 21st century. He will speak at the conference on "Servant Leadership across Cultures."
Dr. Trompenaars earned his Ph.D. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has served as a consultant for Shell, BP, ICI, Philips, Heineken, TRW, Motorola, General Motors, Nike, and Merrill Lynch. He is one of the top 20 speakers for CSA, Europe's leading speakers bureau, and is highly rated by the All American Talent and Celebrity Network.
Known for his wit and ability to motivate, Dr. Trompenaars grew up speaking Dutch and French, and is also fluent in English and German. He has co-authored many books, including Building Cross-Cultural Competence, Business Across Cultures, and 21 Leaders for the 21st Century. His book, Riding the Waves of Culture: Understanding Diversity in Global Business, sold over 120,000 copies and was translated into nine languages.
