THE FOUNDATIONS OF SERVANT LEADERSHIP
Isabel Lopez worked for US WEST/ Mountain Bell, where she supervised hundreds of people and managed multi-million-dollar budgets. She is currently head of Lopez Leadership. Her clients include major corporations, foundations, educational institutions, government agencies, community and non-profit organizations. An active member of the community, Isabel currently serves on the board of the Institute for International Education and is chair of the Board Performance Committee.
David W. Worley has served as the Director of Communication 101 for the past fourteen years and also as the Chairperson of the Department of Communication at Indiana State University for the past four and one-half years. Dr. Worley was one of the coordinators of the Alliance for Servant Leadership at ISU and is the author and editor of several books and journal articles. He is the co-owner of Worley Communication Consultants.
APPLYING THE KEY PRACTICES OF SERVANT LEADERSHIP
Dr. Jeff Miller teaches leadership and organizational management courses for the University of Indianapolis and the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He is the past president of the Association of Leadership Educators. He has served as Assistant Director of the North Dakota State University Extension Service. He builds human networks for Innovative Leadership Solutions.
LEADING SERVANT-INSTITUTIONS
Dr. Thomas J. Griffin joined U.S. Cellular in 2000 in a corporate leadership and organizational development role. In 2007 he took on responsibilities as Vice President Organizational Learning & Chief Teaching Officer. Prior to this, Griffin held a variety of positions focused on leadership and organizational development, including Associate Director of Organizational Learning & Development with the SBC/Ameritech organization.
Certificate Program Adjunct Faculty
In addition, the Greenleaf Academy will draw on the experience and insights of part-time adjunct faculty, who will participate from time to time in teleconferences with program participants. Adjunct faculty members include Greenleaf Center Board members Howard Behar, Jeff Blade, Dr. John Burkhardt, Sally Chew, Richard R. Pieper, Sr., and Dr. Kurt Takamine. Other adjunct faculty will be Dr. Don Frick, biographer of Robert Greenleaf; Dr. Kent M. Keith, Greenleaf Center CEO; Kelvin Redd, Director of the Center for Servant Leadership at the Pastoral Institute; Jack Lowe, Jr. of TDIndustries, and Ann McGee-Cooper of Ann McGee-Cooper Associates.
